We are currently seeking a Licensed Industrial Electrician to join our growing team in Woodstock, Ontario. If you are a skilled professional looking to be part of a forward-thinking organization, we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, time management, the ability to work alone, as well as in a team setting, have excellent problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Responding to automation line machine faults in fast paced (just-in-time) manufacturing environment.
- Performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshooting and testing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment and systems (involve circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.)
- Must have background reading, programming, troubleshooting, modifying programmable controllers, HMI, robotics and other electronic equipment.
- This position requires extensive work with Mitsubishi PLC & HMI.
- Troubleshooting, replacing and/or repairing machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, roller, belts, chain, valves, gears.
- Performing welding, fabricating as needed.
- Working within a rotating shift environment.
- Performing inventory check and spare part management.
- Performing Routine scheduled daily shift checks and attend floor meetings.
- Using computer to document shift report, monthly reports.
- Supporting Production Processes.
- While this position is open for our Woodstock location the candidates must be flexible to Cambridge facility if required.
- Complete work orders and ensure all equipment is available and operational.
- Attend to emergency repairs and preventative maintenance during and outside of production hours.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building and production equipment, when required (including holidays and weekends).
- Facility maintenance includes painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Solid PLC troubleshooting skill is a must.
- Minimum of 2 years industrial electrical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing mechanical maintenance on equipment.
- Ontario or Inter-Provincial Electrician License.
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work rotating shifts- between days and afternoon as scheduled.
