Maple Automotive Corporation (MAC), located in Woodstock, ON, is currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our ever-growing team.

Our Canadian facilities produce more than 2.5 million assemblies annually, delivering Just-in-Time Product to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada.

Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for ordering materials as required to meet the customer production plan, scheduling for all materials and administering inventory levels within the lean manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, time management, the ability to work alone, as well as in a team setting, have excellent problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Complete & release daily supplier subcomponents orders to meet production schedules.
  • Utilize customer production plan to prepare, analyze & release weekly supplier forecasts.
  • Maintain close support with suppliers to ensure all requirements are being met & expediate when necessary.
  • Monitor inventory fluctuations and daily demand.
  • Inventory management; determine/maintain target inventory level for components and finished good safety stock.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and semi-annual physical inventory to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare custom documents & coordinate transportation for all special orders and as required.
  • Coordinate and execute engineering changes/program buildouts/prototype builds/service builds and works to minimize obsolescence and scrap.
  • Creating and maintaining matrix (bill of material) documents for vehicle programs.
  • Perform other duties and tasks assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Related College Diploma, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a Just-in-Time manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with the Toyota Production System an asset.
  • Must be able to work in Cambridge and Woodstock.
  • Will work under tight deadlines and multitask in a fast pace environment.
  • Requirement to support semi-annual inventory counts on weekends.
  • Must be able to read technical part drawings and interpret ECI’s.
  • Proficient in Data Entry and Microsoft Suites, including Excel (Intermediate to Advanace), Word and Outlook.
  • Must be customer focused and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, handle stress, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience required.
  • Automotive environment preferred.
  • Experience with Toyota launch systems and requirements preferred.
  • Previous exposure to a multicultural office environment preferred.
